Focus Mode Is Coming To Your MIUI Device Very Soon.

It looks like after getting us hooked on to the smartphone, companies are now trying to get us off the grid. Whether it is Google's Digital Wellbeing feature or "The Light Phone" everyone is now trying to conceive us that the less is new more. Xiaomi recently started pushing it's latest update MIUI 11 to the respective devices with many great features like system-wide dark mode or digital well-being feature, but it looks like Xiaomi is not done yet and it has made available a Focus mode on its MIUI 11 developer versions.

Recently, MIUI boss revealed the upcoming feature on its Weibo account, that can be accessed by getting into settings if you are on developer version. The focus mode is, however, looks similar to the One plus attempts with Zen mode that makes it's user enjoy the world and people around them, taking them away from their smartphones. In Zen mode, a user can select a fixed duration of time accordingly which the smartphone allows only taking picture and dialling emergency phone. Rest of the features are kept off the grid for specified time. 

However, it isn't sure what will the Xiaomi's focus mode will offer, but it will be interesting to see what else it offers that is already been in the market. No one has imagined that smartphones would be so much integral part of our lives and it is good to see some effort from the companies that they are now actually thinking about the digital well-being of their consumers.
