Google Stadia: Play Any Game Without Installation.

Imagine you'd play the famous gaming titles without any installation, on any device whether it be your android device or your tablet or TV, and that too at 60fps 4k quality? It looks like a dream come true for the game lovers. Google at the Game Developers Conference at San Francisco announced a delight for gamers i.e. a gaming streaming service that allows you to stream any gaming titles on any device.

Google is trying to move ahead of the competition and trying to create a separate reputation among the gamers community with this new move. Google's Stadia will allow to stream game to all types of devices and it will allow to stream games from cloud to Chrome browser, Chromecast and Pixel device and will launch in 2019 first in US, Canada, Europe and UK. The prices are not yet revealed by the company for now and will be revealed in full detail during the summer time. 

 

To play the game over internet without any sort of installation you'll need a high speed bandwidth connection and specifically 25Mbps to play in 4k at 60 fps and Google in future will roll out the roadmap to play in 8k at 120fps too. That's a lot of data and high speed internet connection you're gonna need. Google is literally leveraging it's global data centre so that the latency would be reduced to bare minimum and players feel no lag while playing at such high quality. One of the highlight is that you'll be able to continue games from one point to other even if you switch devices, just like you do with Netflix. 

Alongside with the service Google has also introduced a game controller, so that you can enjoy full Stadia experience. The existing gaming controller will also work with the service but this Google made controller have two new buttons,one for capturing the gameplay and directly streaming it over youtube and one dedicated Google assistant.  

For so many years gaming was equals to Sony Playstation or Microsoft Xbox. But it looks like the industry is leaning towards a change in 2019. Let's see how it goes. Till next time stay safe, stay updated and stay connected.
