Starlink Satellite Constellation: The Elon Musk's Crazy Internet Idea.

Elon Musk owned company SpaceX, will launch 60 satellites out of expected 12000 satellites that will complete the SpaceX Starlink broadband network. Elon Musk have been known for his crazy visions and no matter how crazy they sound they surely give a thrill to any tech savvy person, whether it be sending a Tesla Roadster with dummy astronaut into the space or the crazy flamethrower, he has tons of ideas going on in his mind any time.

Elon Musk is now trying to create a constellation of satellites that will beam down the internet. SounDs CooL! If SpaceX succeeds in creating this crazy satellite constellations, then it will be the only company so far that will beam down the internet with satellites, giving SpaceX a sort of monopoly in internet satellite network domain. SpaceX plans to launch nearly 12000 satellites to complete the constellations but in the initial phase SpaceX will launch 6-7 rockets each carrying 60 satellites to test the service and coverage. However Musk has said that things can go wrong for this launch. But it will be interesting to see how the company proceeds with this idea of beaming down internet with the help of satellites.

SpaceX is planning to launch the test service by 2020, however based on the past deadlines of the company it is hard to believe that it will be on track for this project. However it will be interesting to see other competitors into this race but SpaceX will surely have an advantage because it has it's own rockets. Having a satellite based internet has it's own advantages and disadvantages and it will be interesting to see how company tackles those.
