Smartphones under 10k (March)

Thinking of buying a new smartphone? Or want to gift someone? Buying a new smartphone was never so easy as it is these days. You can get so many options from Chinese to Japanese handset maker offering the best of best smartphones. While you have too many options to consider under 15k range, the sub 10k range also offers some device while looks premium, offer decent performance and still cost you less than 10k. There are a few caveats that must be made clear. For one thing, although there are some really good phones at this budget, you have to be open to some degree of compromise. And the recommendation here are based on the personal review and not sourced from other website or blog. To save your time i tried my best to keep it small and effective.

1. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3:

The phone comes with the 5.5 full HD display, 2gb RAM, Snapdragon 650, 64-bit hexa-core 1.8GHz processor, 16 gb inbuilt storage with option to expand upto 32gb, 4000mAh battery, Finger print sensor and support 4G hybrid dual sim. It also comes with 3gb RAM and 32gb inbuilt storage.

At a first glance the all metal design looks premium, display quality is very good, colors are sharp and more vivid. It performs very well specially when it comes to multi tasking. Battery life is also very decent but camera performance is average, eventhough it has 16mp two tone flash, Camera could have been better but it's managable under daylight and there's a bit of noise and disturbance in low light. Overall its worth every penny.

2. Moto Gen 3

This powerpack smartphone comes with the 5 inch HD screen which looks very bright. It packs 1.4 GHz quad core snapdragon 410 processor. Comes with the 1 gb RAM and 8gb onboard storage which is expandable to 32gb. It has 13 mp camera which is very decent comparing to Xiaomi. What is good about this phone is the pure stock android which offers lag free experience and timely update. Water resistance just adds to the score. But sometimes over using makes the screen warm.

3. Coolpad note 3 lite

Although its a new company but it offers some really great specs at decent price. It has the 5 inch HD screen which offers decent color saturation. It packs the 16gb onboard storage which is expandable to 32 gb and comes with 3 gb RAM and Mediatek 1.3GHz processor and finger print sensor. It has the 13 mp camera which offers average performance. Finger print sensor works well, it offers good battery life, looks sturdy. But it takes very long charging time and the custom skin sometimes restrict the performance.
