How To Link Aadhar & Mobile Number For Sim Re-Verification Via IVR.

The deadline to link your mobile SIM with Aadhar card is 31st March 2018 and the same is also applicable for linking of several schemes and welfare measures as well as bank accounts with Aadhaar card. But to make this process easier and less cumbersome for the consumers, the telecom operators have already launched a toll free helpline number "14546". Irrespective of your telecom service provider this number can be dialed for seeding of your Aadhar number. The IVRS-based facility is one of the easiest methods for linking of Aadhaar card with mobile connection. As you can also visit the nearest telecom service provider outlet with your Aadhar number for the same. But before starting make sure your mobile number is updated with your Aadhar card because you'll get the OTP for verification. 

1. Dial 14546 and select the respective option whether you are an India or NRI.

2. Then you will be asked to link your Aadhar with your phone number. Select the respective option. 

3.  Enter your 12 digit Aadhar number and press 1.

4.  An OTP will be generated to your registered mobile number.

5.  Now enter your mobile number.

6. Here, you are asked to give consent to your operator to pick your name, photo and date of birth from UIDAI data base.

7. Now the IVR will mention your last four digit of your mobile number. 

8. If the number is correct, you can enter the OTP you received.

9. Now press 1 to complete your Aadhar seeding process.
