Mobile World Congress. Samsung Galaxy S9 | S9+ Launched.
So it's again that time of the year when the tech nerds and bloggers get exhausted trying to cover up all the mobile launches at the Year's biggest event i.e. Mobile World Congress. Every company waits for this time to unveil their flagships and shows their technical prowess competing with each other, but unlike apple that never give any updates besides WWDC, there are lots of mobile companies that unveiled their much anticipated smartphones and successor to their current smartphone line ups.
Samsung Galaxy S9 | S9+
After so many leaks and rendered video that surfaced online before the official launch, Samsung has finally unveiled it's successor to the S8. Samsung's galaxy S9 and S9+ looks very much identical to the galaxy S8, besides the placement of the fingerprint sensor, it feels very much familiar to the S8. But the main highlight of the phone is the so called Samsung's re imagined camera that Samsung claims offer high quality low light photography and noise reduction.
Both the smartphones packs the latest processors and newly designed camera. S9 comes with 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen; Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 / Exynos 9810 processors; 4GB of RAM, 3000 mAh battery that is capable of both wired fast charging and wireless charging; 64GB of internal storage that is expandable via the micro sd card. While S9+ gives you the option for dual rear camera; 6GB of RAM and a bigger 6.2-inch screen and 3,500 mAh battery. But the highlight of both the smartphones is their camera which features the adjustable aperture. The 12MP camera sensor comes with a mechanically adjustable variable
aperture setup — f/1.4 lens for 28 percent more light in dark conditions
and f/2.4 lens for outdoor shooting and offers 30% better low-light pictures with better multi-frame noise reduction.
